If you are traveling to Rochester for mayo clinic appointments, this is the place to stay. The staff recognize that being sick is hard stuff, and so they go above and beyond in being helpful and pleasant. When you call downstairs to ask for something, the answer is always "of course" or "absolutely". If you need a wheelchair, they will find one. If you need something from the drugstore, they will offer to run out and get it. If you need a ride to the clinic, they have a town car and an SUV to take you. The front office staff and the bell staff are flat out excellent. And as someone who travels for business 20+weeks a year this is hotel has the most comfortable and clean rooms as any I have stayed in.

In our room there was a weird noise from the plumbing. It sounded a like a barking dog. We called the front desk and they put us in a different room. But, we had the noise in that room as well. It made for a difficult night sleep.

Dear Anglea N; Thank you for staying with us during your time in Rochester. I am sorry, but I am not sure what that noise could have been during your time with us. Thank you for letting us know and I will see what engineering says about it. We hope that you will consider staying with us again in the future.

I rarely write reviews as I am usually busy but felt the DoubleTree in Rochester is most deserving. By far, this has been one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was absolutely wonderful, truly embodying the essence of superior customer service. We received an upgrade to an amazing room, which was quite luxurious and ever so comfortable. I recommend staying in an HHonors/Executive room, as the Executive lounge is packed with perks-galore: free breakfast, sodas, happy hour (good times!), and warm cookies & cold milk served every evening (delicious!). They also have a free car service to drive you around town. Overall, the DoubleTree at Rochester, MN, is the epitome of great customer service, always striving to go above and beyond, and I would like to personally thank the managers and staff who make the experience so great.

Business trip with delays and no lunch en route so cookie very welcome. Great service. Everyone very nice and everything just worked. Comfortable bed, high-speed internet and working AC. Reliable and predictable. Great food in restaurant-awesome fish deep in the midWest. Try the fish tacos for lunch.

Our Rotary Training for President Elects was held at the Mayo Civic Center on March 6-8, 2014. The double Tree was adjacent to the center and several events were also held at the hotel. The double Tree was exceptional in every respect and one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed at. The sykway was also great for visiting other shops and venues.
