Went here today, second day they were open. Greeted with a small sample tray. Wonderful way to try many different items we were unfamiliar with. My 12-year-old then ordered the gumbo as a result. Excellent technique odor us to step out of our comfort zone. We had the chicken and sausage gumbo, the red beans and rice and the catfish po boy. Everything was excellent, but my catfish po boy was phenomenal. The highlight and what will be on my lips for a while were the beignets. Oh boy were those terrific. Could we have those available at breakfast too? This is a place we will certainly return to. My elderly father who went to college in New Orleans inhaled our leftovers and is anxious for his first visit.
