This was a good pick for dinner during a business trip. The selection of beers on tap numbered 50 and they had plenty that would fit most tastes. Their menu is really lacking, although the food was good. Flatbread pizza and some small bites are all they have to offer. If they added burgers it would be a spot worth hitting multiple times. I ate outside on the dining section on the roof and waited far longer than I should have to get waited on just to get my drink order. From there it went pretty quick, it's just that initial waiting period that bugged me.

I stopped in here to check out the slection of microbrews and it was almost too much to choose from. Almost :-) They have 50 beers on tap and another list of craft beers in bottles and cans. The building is really neat being a historical building that has be restored. It's not a place that I would hang out and drink beer all night but it's a neat place to go try some different beers. It has an upscale feel to it more that a corner pub vibe. Nice place.

The tap house is a nice addition to Rochester's evening social scene. They have a great variety of locally brewed beers along with appetizers and upscale munchies. Limiited real food however. Not really an option for dining.

Always looking for a local "find", we discovered The Tap House during a visit to the Mayo Clinic. Any beer might have tasted good after spending an entire day in medical waiting rooms, but the expansive collection of craft beers, many on draught, was like none we've ever seen. Ever. Each brew we tried was delicious, several being limited, once-a-year releases. All in a comfortable, renovated 19th century building with exposed brick walls and modern touches. We found ourselves returning to a new selection every day as a reward for our hard work at the clinic!
