Great place to stay!

Clean, quiet, reasonable rates, nice breakfast, beds are comfortable, elevator is a nice touch and fitness room. The staff is very friendly and helpful! The free shuttle to St. Mary's and Mayo Clinic is wonderful!
We have stayed at other Microtel Inn & Suites and like them too!
We were here for a visit to the Mayo Clinic. Really nice area. Good restaurants and stores are close by.

Excellent

Clean, convenient, good price, breakfast perfect with good coffee

Only negative was the walk from the parking lot, a busy hotel with lots of vehicles.

We will stay there again!

Thank you for taking time to write this review. "Excellent" is always a word that we, here at the Microtel enjoy seeing. Our hotel is a very busy place. We have the guests that stay here going in and out, as well as two other shuttle services that pick up and drop off people on their way to the Minneapolis airport. Nice place to stay and very reasonable

We stay here at least twice a year. The staff is awesome - friendly and efficient. The rooms are nice with window seats and decent size. The room is always clean and the bathroom is a good size and works well. They have complimentary personal items If you forget them. I would definitely recommend to a friend. Broadway bar amd pizza in parking lot. Across from target home depot and several restaurants and famous brand shoes. The hotel and room are very clean and nice - not shabby at all.

Our window seats in every room are a Microtel trademark and we are always complimented on how great the seats are. "Mayo Clinic Visit? Great Place To Stay!"

My sister and I stayed at the Microtel Inn & Suites in Rochester, Minnesota. (She had an appointment with a knee replacement surgeon at the Mayo Clinic-Gonda Building.) The room we stayed in had very comfortable beds. There was a continental breakfast and a complimentary mini bus to take us to the Mayo Clinic. The mini bus also brought us back to the Microtel. Awesome!
We were very impressed with the hospitality of all the staff and cleanliness of the Microtel.
Before we left, we booked the Microtel for her and her husband's stay in July when she has her surgery!

Room Tip: There is no swimming pool. Also, there is a Broadway Pizza right next to the Microtel. Awesome selection of Italian and American Food!!! Windows can be opened for "fresh" air! Quiet Place!

Recent stay

Was very dated. Did not appreciate the fact that the TV was on top of a closet, hard to view when sitting on sofa. If I would of planted seeds in the baseboard in the bathroon they would of sprouted, the hair dryer in bath was filthy did not use. The overhead lightingB by the beds was very dirty did not want to use and see the dirt. The room smelled extremely bad of cigarettes. Planned on staying 4 nights, only stayed 1 night because daughter was to ill to change from tests. Not a clean place to stay if you have a loved one going to Mayo clinic with cleaniliness being very important for them.
