“Delish for Fish!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2013

A friend and I went out to lunch on a holiday week to enjoy a little "down" time. The service was excellent, the atmosphere fantastic and the food was fresh, flavorful , and really, really good. They do have a smaller meal at lunch priced for $10.00 with several choices. I had a Mahi Mahi Fish taco with black bean soup...it was to die for. My friend ordered a chicken ceaser salad and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the chicken was grilled with seasonings. yes, a bit more money...but Oh so worth it. This was my first visit here and won't be the last. It may be my new fav in Rochester! Loved it.
PS- the bar area looked really neat. If you are staying in Roch and just want to do a little "chillaxin" , this would be a nice stop for you.

“Elegant setting...wonderful ambiance ”

Had Dinner last nite at the bar as reservations are a must at this posh place. The dishes we ordered, mostly appetizers to try different offerings were all well presented and prepared perfectly. The Mussels were terrific and quite a meal, the wine offerings were diverse in both price and selection and the decor and ambiance of the bar area was refined and classy. A great place for a really nice dining experience.

“Great Food, Great Service, Perfection”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 12, 2013 via mobile

After you walk through the beautiful doubletree hotel, tucked away in an unassuming corner, lies Pescara. Reservations are a must: it's Tuesday evening, not yet 5:00 pm, and there's not even a measly table for two until 8 pm, available. Luckily, I made reservations a day in advance and was quickly (and with a friendly smile by a "by-standing server" since the hostess was too busy complaining about changing the fish list) was sat near a modern, floor to ceiling, beautifully dressed window. A seafood sampler appetizer will whet your appetite; the filet is melt in your mouth perfect. The scallops, salads, and the desserts (chocolate torte and creme brûlée) is heaven sent. This is one of the best restaurants in the entire Midwest, and it has to be, to keep up with the world class clientele that come to Mayo. This is my 4th time here, and every time I come here, we are served spectacular food. Fast, efficient, and delicious, I couldn't ask for more. Thank you Pescara, for creating perfect evenings for your customers.

“Great food, reasonable cost!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2013

Pescara is a really upscale dining experience, with a reasonable cost. I've been there for breakfast, brunch, and also dinner. Enjoyed it every time. Highlights are Seafood Scrambled Eggs and Hash Browns with Gouda.
