“Lunchtime yes, Dinner...Not So Much”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

Pescara has some good lunch specials (a Weekday $10 meal). But for a seafood restaurant, I have to say that their burger is actually the best thing on that menu. That being said, they also have good scallops and fish tacos. Skip the oysters though.

Staff is frequently snobby and acts as though customers are a bother. The atmosphere is also a bit stuffy.

I wouldn't be upset if I have to eat there, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

“Nice brunch.”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

We recently had brunch here and enjoyed the food, which was good. Lobster Bisque was the highlight. The disappointment was the staff who seemed bored and not very aware of how to provide attentive service. Sad, because we are frequent diners here.

“Average Breakfast Buffet”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

We were staying at the Doubletree, but only had time for one breakfast here. The staff were very attentive and wonderfully friendly. The made to order food (pancakes, eggs, waffles, etc) was excellent, while the buffet was only marginally above the mainstream drive thru fair. B+

“One of the best seafood restaurants”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

Pescara specializes in sustainable fish. Everything is scrupulously fresh and delicious. The chefs will cook your seafood to order, and the menu changes daily. The lobster bisque is to die for. Pescara is definitely worth a special trip

“Good food but pricey; service and table can be bad”
Reviewed December 15, 2012

Good food in a (usually) quiet, upscale setting. Service can be iffy, and some tables and booths are very near the kitchen and can be unpleasantly noisy.
