This is unusual for Blackwoods but we stopped in for a 'quick' burger on a slow Sunday brunch. We told the waitress/bartender & hostess that we were in a bit of a rush BUT they were so slow we had to take the food {burger was good even cold} to go. Not very good service and I'll note the men's bathroom had not been clean from the night before {at noon, Sunday}. Swizzle sticks in the sinks, etc

“Out of the way but very nice”
Reviewed August 11, 2014

We have eaten here several times over the years. We were in the area so stopped by for a late lunch. Our server was very busy so we didn't get our drinks until just before our meals came. (She apologized and told us she was not charging us for them) I had the Rueben sandwich which the menu said was rated top in the area. I will have to agree that the corned beef was probably the best I have ever eaten. The others in our group had burgers and they said they were very good. Definitely would go back.

“DELICIOUS!!!!!”
Reviewed August 4, 2014

Quaint, but don't let that word fool you, there is plenty of room for large groups, or an intimate romantic dinner. Our server was new, but the service was still wonderful. Tilapia, rice, asparagus. Hot when served, tasty and delightful to the palate. Try the Habanaro Martini for a bit of a zingy beverage. Ribs and Chicken are tender and delicious, ask for extra napkins. They have a gluten free menu which was such a surprise to see, but very welcomed part of our dining experience. Well worth the stop.

“ok...”
Reviewed August 2, 2014

This restaurant was a walk down a hallway from my hotel. Nothing special,,,had a steak with a pepper sauce. A bit too spicy for my taste. The roll that came with the salad was light and fluffy, though. Service could have been a bit more attentive.
