“Restaurant close to waters edge”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

This is a neat little place on the lake with great burgers and fries type of meals. We have been there usually early spring or later in the fall when there are not many boaters pulling up, so can't vouch for what it would be like in mid summer, but I would think that boaters and hot summer days would be a great time to visit this place. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to people wanting a view while having a summer evening meal or an afternoon cocktail and enjoy the views of the lake.

“Great Location, Poor Service”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

Love the location, hate the wait. The food is decent. Sitting on the deck is nice, but the railing is covered in cob webs, etc. With a little remodeling this place could be great - but each year, they miss the mark paying more attention to the inside and leaving the deck to waste away in the elements.

“Atmosphere is fun during the summer, as long as you can be patient.”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

This place tends to get packed in a hurry on any nice day during the year. Food, service and location is great! Everyone has always been very helpful and genuine to interact with! Can't wait to go again!

“Yikes! What a disappointment in such a beautiful spot!”
Reviewed September 29, 2012 via mobile

Sat., 9/29/12 4:00 pm
Our party of four showed up to sit on the deck to enjoy a gorgeous late September Saturday afternoon.

The bad news:
Wait staff were running around in chaos.
No one was at the desk to seat us for several minutes so we seated ourselves on the deck.
No one came to our table for 10-15 minutes even though we mentioned it to a waiter.
The table and deck were filthy.
The waiter came after several minutes with four menus but made no effort to clean off the garbage or food bits from the table.
We asked to have the table cleaned and he came back with a spray bottle??
There were bees EVERYWHERE!!
The food was really expensive for the offerings.

The good news:
The view of Prior Lake was fabulous.
The food was fairly good.

This is the second time this summer we have had incredibly slow service and sadly we won't be going back. Between the garbage, the bees, the slow service, AND the expensive prices, it just isn't worth it.
Did I mention there were bees EVERYWHERE? Yikes.
