We stayed at Mystic Lake two times last year within about a month's time. Both times, we stayed on a Saturday night, in a standard king room; one night was about $250 and the other it was about $380.
The room was nice, clean and updated and the bed was comfortable. Each room had charging cords to fit just about any end/plug for your device. Bathrooms were spacious and came with some toiletries.
We didn't spend a lot of time in the room as we were out at the Renaissance Festival during the day (there is a free shuttle that runs to/from there) and then had supper at the steakhouse there (meals were fabulous there each time!). Then, we did some gambling and had a few drinks at the bar.
As stated in the summary, it was a good stay (both times), but the cost of the rooms are overpriced. I understand that they have had renovations and continue to do what they can to enhance the grounds and improve the stay/visit of all who come (for gambling, staying, and other events), but honestly, we probably would have spent more gambling, at the restaurant and the bar had the room been less. But, I suppose they got their dollar from us either way- right?More
