Very nice establishment. Beautiful rooms, and nice employees, very unorganized but nice. Never really win much so I must stop w the visits, but if you just want a beautiful room, and maybe some blackjack, I highly suggest it! Note: bring headphones they play the boringest, lamest, dumbest music lol. And another note, the nachos Suck! Gross. And the sour cream is pretty bad.

My wife and I attended a concert and dinner last night. The steak house was very good, superb cut of meat and great service. They can compete with the top steaks houses in the metro. The food at Mystic has greatly improved over the years. The concert was so-so, but that doesn't reflect on Mystic. We do enjoy dining and the events there... however, on the down side, the smoking is a killer...cannot stand it for very long. Our clothes reek when we get home. It's a casino - so I guess we know what we are getting in too.

Room tip: non smoking

My husband and I attended a convention for work. Huge place, lots of walking! Our room was very nice and clean with a great view of the golf course. The casino was a lot of fun, smoking was allowed which was foreign for us because in Maryland, where we’re from, smoking is prohibited inside any building. Staff was friendly and helpful. The prices in the gift shop were reasonable and we tried a few of the onsite restaurants which were pretty good. The pool was very nice, complete with a massive jacuzzi and sauna.

Bed: good, medium firmness

Pillow: great, nice and soft

Lighting: great, only a few lamps but very bright bulbs

Water pressure: ok, rain shower head only and had water saver restrictor

Hot water: great, plenty

Shower curtain: cloth with curved bar to keep it off you

Exhaust fan in bathroom: great, turned on with switch and effective

Cleanliness: good

Interior sound proofing: ok, hallway noise but not too much else

Exterior sound proofing: great, heard nothing

Thermostat controls: great, you can turn on heat or air

WiFi: great, free and fairly fast

Room layout: made sense, adequate, wish bathroom door swung out instead of in though

Elevators: great, almost no waiting

Misc: they have an iPad of sorts in the room for information instead of the old traditional book in the drawer, kind of cool, was missing channel guide and checkout ability (which didnt work over the tv either, but could be done over the phone)

Room had an odor reminiscent of strong air freshener intended to cover something up. Similar to Harrah‘ in Vegas where it is intended to cover the smell of cigarette smoke. We had a non smoking room but I suspect it hasn’t always been and they are covering that up with freshener. I could be wrong on the reason, but the room certainly reaked of the carpet deodorizer or freshener or whatever it is... I am hopeful it is just out room as I did not smell it elsewhere in the hotel, so did not reduce my rating for it.

Alarm clock had charging cords attached. Room had usb jacks in at least 3 different spots.

Tv had an abnormally high number of channels in Chinese.

Probably best hotel within 20-30 minute drive. I would try staying again.

While they have a free valet service, wherein tipping would likely be expected, we chose to self park. When self parking you end up parking outside or on top of the parking ramps whereas valet parks inside the ramp...

Shuttle busses are big comfy looking coach busses.

Tip: book early, their prices appear to go up as they get closer to being sold out. Perhaps prices also work the other way, not sure.

Tip #2: if you plan to use the casino, sing up for the free Club M card. And sign up for the app to get free slot credits.

Very nice rooms. The staff very friendly. The valet staff and security staff were very friendly. Don’t know the price as it was a gift. Went to a show and was very good. The Minnehaha cafe seemed kinda disorganized. Price was reasonable. By the time we got out of restaurant we had been there an hour and a half.
