There were 3 of us that had dinner at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday evening. We stopped in and made reservations before going to a matinee. I'm glad we made reservations, because the place was packed when we arrived for dinner after seeing the movie. (We did notice the restaurant emptied out a lot within a half hour or so, so we think there were a lot of people having dinner before the 7-8 o'clock movies.)
We ordered the pan-fried dumplings, Kung Pao Chicken, King Pao Chicken Noodle, and the Chung King Spicy Chicken (the waiter told us this was Andrew Zimmern's favorite thing on the menu and he ate at the restaurant all of the time). We thought all of the food was delicious and the portions were so large that we brought about a 1/3 of each meal home.
The wine selection wasn't great, but I don't expect much of a selection from a Chinese Restaurant.
We will definitely be back. We love the feel of the neighborhood theater and Tea House restaurant right across the parking lot. It makes for a convenient night out.
