“Cute plays, reasonable prices, a bit dingy...”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

We have been to several of the Church Basement Ladies plays here. We always enjoy ourselves! The facility is a bit old, though, and not very accessible.

“Fun Entertainment!”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

The acting was excellent! We enjoyed the first Church Basement Ladies the best, but it was still a very fun evening!

“LAUGHTER, LAUGHTER, LAUGHTER!”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

The current performance is, "A Mighty Fortress Is Our Basement", which continues the saga of these wonderful, lovable, church ladies, who think they own their basement facilities! If you've read the book, "Growing Up Lutheran", you'll have an idea of the subject matter. (Other church denominations insist THEIR church ladies behave the same way!!) We've seen almost all of the church basement performances, some in different venues, some more than once; this "home" performance location is the best of all! The play is being extended into the fall. Don't miss the fun, perhaps even seeing yourself in one of the characters!

“A small theatre”
Reviewed June 11, 2012

This is a very small theatre and some of the seats are very bad but still the same price as the good seats. The play was fun and the acting enjoyable.

“Very nice local playhouse”
Reviewed June 7, 2012

The atmosphere here is very nice, all seats are good and the cast was quite entertaining. My only wish is that there was greater variety of plays. The church basement theme is fun once, but I would return several more times if they mixed it up a bit.
