The service, atmosphere, cleanliness, was all above expectations. I have never had such impecable service at a hotel before. Every indiviudal employee here was more then willing to help with any requests and were very polite and professional. There is not a negative thing that could be said about this place!!!

Hotel room was fine but the girl at the front desk was amazingly unhelpful. It took 4 1/2 hours to get into our room that we had reserved. When we arrived we were told that the entire place had been filled the night before. Fine. All she would do was click away at her keyboard and tell us there was not even one room cleaned yet. Fine. We go offsite, eat lunch, return. Still not even one room ready!!! The assistant manager finally told us the cleaning staff hadn't shown up so one untrained woman was doing all of the rooms. More clicking on the keyboard....totally unorganized help at the front desk. No clue as to when a room would.be available. Finally, 4 1/2 hours after we arrived, the girl who just kept clicking on her keyboard said a room was ready. Not even a murmur of apology! Nothing. The asistant manager was nice enough but the front desk girl was an embarrassment to the Marriott chain.

I've stayed at a number of Residence Inns, and am always satisfied. This is my second stay at this site, and it is a good deal better than others. The one bedroom was laid out like a small apartment, with full sized fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave, dishwasher. Very nice furniture, and quiet heating unit. The decor and colors are dark, which is helpful in making it feel more like a living unit than a hotel. An impressive free breakfast as well. It is a relatively new property and it shows. One improvement that would make it truly great would be better pillows. If you are sensitive to this, the wrong pillow can really affect sleep. The pillows are fiberfill and generally firm. Some softer down pillows would be great. I stayed using Marriott points, but I understand the hotel's prices are rather high for this area. An easy recommendation if you are on an expense account.

We had some free Marriott Rooms that were going to expire and decided to use them locally for a family staycation weekend. Our requirements were a pool and a big enough room for some friends to join us for TV, games & drinks. We chose this hotel because the rooms were "suites" and larger than normal hotel rooms. We pulled 2 tables together and there was plenty of room for 7 of us to play board games, watch TV and comfortably get up and walk around.

It's a very nice hotel! There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance and several that offer delivery. We ordered Green Mill and they delivered pretty quickly.

The hotel staff was very accomodating with everything we requested. When we told them the pool area was out of towels, the bin was refilled on the spot. The breakfast is also great. The kids loved the waffles and muffins. There is also yogurt, fruit, hard boiled eggs and plenty of pastries. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel was okay, there were a few things that wouldn't cost them much, but would greatly make it a better hotel.
- Coffee, the coffee was warm. The only time it was hot was when breakfast was actually being served, and even then you had to wait while they started making it at the time it was supposed to be available.
- Keep entrance safe. There was an ice storm while we were there and yet the hotel made no effort to salt the front walk -- even after we mentioned it to the front desk clerk and also they had the bucket of salt right next to the door!
- Shredded towels. Of the 6 towels we had, 3 of them had tears in them!! Twice, I switched towels out at the front desk, they should NOT be giving towels of "rag quality" to their guests.
- The sausage was also served cold at the breakfast buffet, it was cold when they first opened the buffet.
- The room are too heavily fragranced, several members in our group had respiratory problems due to the fragrance, once I left notes for housekeeping to NOT SPRAY, we felt a lot better.

I love to stay at Residence Inn's because they are so comfortable. This one was particularly nice. I arrived between 7:30 and 8pm and the desk clerk commented that I could still get some food from the evening fare - a potato bar. Since I was tired, it was great to not have to leave the hotel to get dinner. The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. I wish I didn't have to check out so early the next morning.
