I have known about this small place for about 3 years, but had not sampled the offerings until recently. This special place lived up to the praise I heard and I was impressed. They do have a daily specials for dinner which had a selection of seafood and beef for entrees. The menu has a wide selection and the prices range from $12 to $25. They also serve a hearty selection of common and micro brews. The wine selection (bottles)are displayed on a lazy susan at the counter. If you want wine I recommend looking at them first because you may not have heard of many on the wine list and the server did not know much about them. I ordered the grass-fed ribeye and it was fabulous served over mashed potatoes with carmelized onions on top. It was sweet, juicy, tender and pretty large portion steak. My entree came with artichoke and basil soup which was awesomely delicious. The 3 others in my group ordered, salmon, walleye and scallops. All were praised as delicious. The glass of red wine I ordered was listed as a blend of chocolate and plums. It had a wonderful bouquet and went very well with my meal. The place had just been re-painted inside (as the sign on the door stated) so the walls were bare or any decor. It was very clean, nice tables and the servers were efficient and friendly. The only down side was that no bread was offered or served with the meals. Not enough of a reason to skip this place though. Not a cheap meal but a charming place to dine with friends. They stop seating at 8pm so don't plan this to be a late one.
