“Northern Wonder”

Black Pine Beach Resort is truly a beauty. The cabins are very nice with airconditioning, clean
and well furnished with a nice TV. One can hardly find airconditioning in northern setting,
but when the nights get hot it is fantastic to get the cabin cooled! The secret garden in a
beautiful attraction.Their gift shop is worth visting - so many neat mementos to take along.
Resort has a fishing guide and he does a fantastic job! This resort is open in the winter
months - cross-country skiing is great, so is ice fishing, etc. Cabins are nice and warm and
very well built. Good access to mobile devices. It is certified as "green property" environmentally friendly. This year they will be adding a new two story six bedroom and 3 bathroom cabin- will be ready for 2013. Grounds are very well mantained - it is truly a great
place! The owners and other staff members are so neat! Swimming in the lake is so refreshing! Beach area is fun and the evening bonfire is very well received.

Room Tip: The lake front cabins have a beautiful view.

This was our second trip to BPBR and we'll be back next year and hopefully again after that. The cabins are modern yet rustic (now with air conditioning - a big plus!) and the grounds immaculate and beautiful. Plus you're on a bay of one of the best lake chains in the state of Minnesota with fabulous views of the sunset and calmer waters for swimming and kayaking when the big lake is choppy. Finally, the owners and hosts are nice, inviting and very informative. You can tell they truly love running the resort, which shows throughout the entire place. As someone who lives on a popular lake, BPBR is much more than a lake vacation for us. It's about getting away to another peaceful and beautiful setting where you don't need to worry about a thing other than what you're going to have for supper that night or what ice cream treat to buy from the store.

Room Tip: Don't worry about a lot ofsupplies - just clothes, bath and beach towels, and wanted food. They...

We have been going to Black Pine Beach Resort as a family for years. It is a lovely, clean, beautifully maintained bit of Minnesota paradise. We now have four generations vacationing there every summer.

Tucked away in the gorgeous woods of central Minnesota, you do not want to miss Black Pine Beach Resort. Our cabin was just perfect for our family of five. Comfortable beds, gorgeous views of the lake, and a really cute lodge made this our best family vacation. Lynn and Bob (the hosts) are so nice to talk to, too. Even though we couldn't bring our dog, we still had a fun time with theirs throwing sticks in the lake and fishing off the dock. If you are looking for a quiet, family place, you can't beat Black Pine Beach.

Best fishing I have had in years. We caught huge panfish and crappies. The bass were almost jumping into the boat. I am not a walleye fisher, but many were catching their limits of them as well.

Lynn and Bob (the owners) showed us a great time and the cabins were pristine and cozy with a real "up north" feel.

However, nothing can beat watching the sunset from the dock's end at Black Pine Beach Resort. We'll go back year after year just for that alone!
