Best bet: wienershnitzel, spaetzel (noodles), & rot kohl (red cabbage cooked). Add lots of pepper & enjoy: don't expect German food to be spicy or exotic.
Sunday buffet is nice.
Salad bar is small but good, with some unusual offerings (e.g., liver pate, bean salad, sauerkraut salad, etc.).
Service is always good. Decor is fine (ignore the cranky comments below. Geeeesshh, people! You're in the rural north of the U.S.! Munich it's not. But it's a good place.)
