Decent lake, but the owner of the resort is a complete jerk. He gets upset about everything including filling empty gas tanks, staying out to sunset because the running lights are broken, and having the audacity to leave a cover off the only working grill. Pretty much everything is broken. The pontoon boat has no gates so isn't safe for children and that is pretty much the best part of the boat. If you want the sweet sounds of lake water, birds chirping, and a man driving around on an old lawn mower all day then this is the place for you

We stayed here for a week. The cabin is just an old fishing cabin with a few updates. It serves the purpose but would be nice if it were more up to date & had more room. The property is nice as are the owners, but it would have been nice to have some extras for what we paid to stay here. The views are breathtaking & our cabin had a picture window to the lake. The box for a shower was dissappointing but we did have hot running water. 1 roll of tp is not enough for a week as well as 1 garbage bag. Also had to supply our own dishwashing liquid, etc. Also don't be fooled by free Wi-fi because you rarely get it!

Last June I brought my family to Four Seasons Resort for the 14th consecutive year. I love fishing for the northerns and watching and listening to the loons. It is sweet nostalgia, good fishing, and very relaxing. The grounds are well maintained, the cabins are cozy and clean, and Mike and Aggie have invested much in updating them with modern bath and showers. We have become good friends of Mike and Aggie and we love these old 1950s style cabins with their knotty pine interiors and close-to-the-lake convenience and great view.
I persuaded some friends from work to try it about four years ago, and now a group of us go up for a fall fishing trip each year as well. Try it. You'll like it.

Room Tip: Cabins 2,3,4 and 5 have knotty pine walls; 3, 4 and 5 are central with the best view of the lake.

We have been going to the same cabin for the last six years, very clean, comfortable, sits right on the lake with a large picture window to view all the beauty! They are constantly adding or upgrading the cabins, it's fun to come back each year to see what has changed. The fishing is always great; Northerns, Walleyes and Crappies, very clean fish cleaning station. Boat gas, bait and ice can all be purchased at the resort.Plenty of local shops and restaurants just a short drive away, we don't go on vacation to cook! Mike and Aggie are great hosts and will do anything they can to make your vacation the best it can be. We have stayed at five different resorts on Rush Lake, we keep coming back here because it is the best.
