“Best chai in town”
Reviewed July 22, 2014 via mobile

This is my favorite spot to grab a chai tea latte. They also feature a hot or cold "horchada" (not sure on the spelling) which is amazing. The only downfall is that they are a cash only coffee shop. Their is however an ATM within walking distance to grab cash. By far one of the best spots to relax and enjoy some handcrafted beverages.

“Northfield needs real coffee house!”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

Their espresso shots are always exceptional and I recommend buying their espresso beans to brew at home, too. However... they are very inconsistent on the espresso drinks. Sometimes a really bad latte, sometimes average, but, never, never exceptional. For those who like kiddie coffee drinks, Blue Monday won't disappoint (it tastes about the same as caribou and starbucks). I crave a real, authentic barista -made latte. Baffling that Northfield doesn't have even one real coffee house.

The scene? No thank you. Full of college students doing homework & taking up all the seats & tables all day long leaving no place for folks to sit. The rest of us usually have to take our drinks to go or drink standing up. If I'm gathering a group of people or even meeting only one other person, I always go to one of the many, many other coffee places in town.

The service is very fast--the fastest in town. There's often a long line--but don't let that scare you, they are very quick. The brewed coffee is good and I like that they use some organic products and that they are locally-owned.

“Definitely the place for coffee!”
Reviewed February 27, 2014

Every college town should have a great coffee house,
and this is the one for Northfield! Good coffee starting
at 6am -- comfortable spot to work on the computer
even at 15 below, and newspapers to read. For those
who like tea, the choices are quite varied and the dark
roast coffee is consistently good. Also, very friendly.

“The best coffee in town!”

You will not be disappointed! The coffee is great! The atmosphere is fantastic! A very fun place to meet friends. I always have to get a lb of highlander grog coffee to take home. It's the best!
