We stopped in for a quick breakfast and coffee before shopping downtown Nisswa. Good food, happy they had cherry flavor for coffee;)

“Good coffee and scones”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

On vacation recently, I dropped in for a latte and a scone. The scone was fresh and outed fresh raspberries. Delightful. The coffee was also very good. As good as any of the brand name coffee shops. The place is cozy and a good gathering spot in Nisswa.

“Great little coffeehouse”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2013

This is a really nice space with a built-in Northwoods feel. The employees here are really friendly, attentive and made me feel at home. Although it was my first time in Nisswa, I was made to feel as if this was my local coffeehouse.

In addition to coffee, I also purchased a strawberry smoothie. There are a number of flavours to choose from; the barista mixed and blended my smoothie right there. Healthy and refreshing.

The number of tables indoors is a tad limited, but this is helped in warmer months by a large outdoor seating area.

“Great Coffee Scene”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2013

I dont know what happened with "Travelingfamily's" experience, but from what I have gathered from visiting this coffee shop over the past several years is that its got a great atmosphere to visit and comes with swell customer service and some friendly small talk! If you stop in on a absurdly busy day you may not receive the same personal service, for it can get awfully crowded mid summer in the small space. Otherwise, I love there hot panini sandiwches, especially the Pesto Pollo, an awesome pesto and chicken sandwich.

As far as the owner, from the multiple contacts I have made with her, she is aimed to please and is always putting the customers needs and requests first. I was able to place a large order for their filled croissants and picked them up the next morning and brought them into work with me, a huge hit. As others have said, the prices may not be cheap, but it is not any more expensive than the other large chain coffee houses. Plus, the drinks are original and the baristas are willing to make anything you ask for!

“Rude”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2013 via mobile

Let me clarify, the owner is rude. I have been here many times over the past ten years and its always just ok. Everything is overpriced and the espresso drinks are a gamble, but today I had enough. A woman came in and inquired about a local business and received an incredibly rude, sarcastic response. What I found the most unbelievable is that the owner was ridiculing the woman for not realizing this is a "resort town" and the lack of off season customers. ....so you insult a current customer ?! By the way,the exact same coffee can be purchased at Schaffer's grocery store a mile or so down the road.
