“Really nice bridge taking you to Prince Edward Island”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

We were headed to Prince Edward Island and crossed the Confederation Bridge. Its a nice long bridge taking us around 15 minutes. In reading about the bridge we thought it might be scary, but it wasn't. Just a nice trip into Prince Edward Island. Its cost around $44.00 to cross it.

When I crossed from NB to PEI it was raining and the views were still incredible. It is free to ENTER into PEI but when you leave it costs $45 (toll). However, if you are not travelling by car I believe it is only $3 or something like that (Bike/walk/trolley). So, if you aren't planning on making a trip out of it and staying in PEI a while it is a bit expensive. Nonetheless it is an incredible bridge and completely unique to Canada. Makes for great pictures of the horizon and PEI itself is probably one of the most visually stunning places I've seen in all of North America. Absolutely worth the trip.

“Excellent views - EXPENSIVE RIDE”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

This bridge is amazing and very different on both sides of it. The ride on it in a car however costs $45. PEI is where it connects to the main land. PEI is beautiful - but you have to stay there to enjoy the vista. Not worth a single day brisk trip as we did. It is a dream place for any photographer :) So if you plan to go there - plan to spend a lot of time on the island.

“What a Marvel”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

A beautiful structure which can be best viewed by visiting the information centre on the New Brunswick side of the bridge and walking the short trail there. It is really not that expensive when you consider the earlier times when you had to take the ferry for and hour and is a great way to get to the beautiful Prince Edward Island. Two lanes all the way and the passengers can stretch up to see some great views of the Northumberland Strait. An engineering wonder and does not get the international attention it deserves.

“Confederation Bridge Shuttle serves needs a schedule”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

The shuttle bus serves is a joke but necessary. At first you did not have to pay but you had to wait ,now it is $4.25 and still have to wait. My aunt and mother who are 75 and 82 had to wait 1 1/2 hours to come from PEI to NB. Confederation bridge needs to make some changes, seeing as people are paying for the shuttle serves . Have a set schedule then people would know what time to arrive at the shuttle instead of elder people ,babies and small kids sitting for hours but Confederation Bridge is not long taking our money. My family and many others use the shuttle on a regular bases.Confederation bridge is making money they can't say they aren't .My family has used the shuttle for 11 years getting our kids back and forth. Six people is $25.50 when they are doing a shift change anyway.
