I stayed here for a business trip. The location of the hotel is excellent. I took the light rail from the airport. The hotel is only about 2 blocks from the Nicollet Mall Station. As was mentioned in the tips for this hotel, I asked for a room on the Target Field side. The front desk person was new and had to pull out a paper map to find a room that would work. I ended up in a much smaller room than what I had booked but I was fine with this. Although very small, the room was comfortable. I had a partial view of Target Field and the river.
The breakfast buffet was okay, nothing great but had an omelet bar. The servers were very nice and friendly. On my last day one of them thanked me for staying at the Marriott and shook my hand.
I also had nice service in the bar on a busy Saturday night.
Some women were having a bachelorette party in the room next to mine on Saturday. The front desk was very accommodating in finding me a different room in a more quiet location of the hotel.
