Recently stayed at the hotel for a wedding. Debated whether it was worth it, and I'm so glad we decided to do so. The location of this hotel is perfect! We were close to everything that was planned for the wedding, as well as, things we wanted to do while downtown. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, and the wedding was gorgeous. From the moment we got out of the car, through check-in, the entire wedding service, and every visit to the restaurant and bar. We even checked out their Night Owl Lounge, which was a fantastic option for us after the wedding events ended. Great food options, and free games. Nothing like friendly competition with friends after a great wedding! We will definitely take an opportunity to do this again.

Dear Lindsay H.
we really appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your stay. Your positive rating really encourages us to continue to strive for perfection and to develop new and better ways to make all of our guests feel welcome and well taken care of.
Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent stay with us. I am delighted to read that you enjoyed your stay.I am particularily pleased to read that you enjoyed our latest addition to our services. The Night Owl Lounge has been a great hit, especially with our Gen X and Y guests who want to stay up late and enjoy every moment of the weekend. We introduced this concept about 10 weeks ago and it has really been a great hit since it's inception.
You might be interested to learn that since your visit we have also introduced another service that has turned out to be an instant Hit. "Good to Go" menu available in every room. This menu currently features most of our restaurant fare, all our guests have to do is call down to the restaurant and order their choice of items. We will prepare your order right away or have it ready for a set time and package it ready for you to pick up at your convenience. No dleivery charge, no waiting in the room, just easy and convenient.
I hope we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the not too distant future.
Best regards,
Anthony (General Manager).

Dear Rockon,

Thank you so much for your kind words. I was particularly pleased, delighted, to see that you used the word CARING when referring to our " Hosts" (employees). We aren't always going to be perfect, we try to be, but on occasion wemight fail. That is when caring makes the difference and making sure that we care enough to correct the lapses can make all the difference in the world. I am so lucky to have such caring Hosts working with me, my job is to continue to support their efforts and to encourage them to care even more than yesterday.
Thank you again for your kind words, I will be sure to share them with the team. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future,
Best regards,
Anthony

Was here for a conference being held at hotel and appreciated input from others on Trip Advisor. Knew to ask for corner room upgrade. None were available higher than 12th floor, but ended up liking to be on lower floor because when elevators got busy, could just walk down to 5th floor (the lobby) and take escalator to conference level on 4th floor. Doubt I would have done that if I had been on the 20th floor! Wifi in room worked well. Was very disappointed that wifi was not available in conference rooms (conference organizers noted that they would have had to pay a pretty high fee to provide that).

Room Tip: Corner suites are large with huge windows. If you don't get too high a room, can walk up and do...

I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and we were able to get the room type you desired. We have just completed a major upgrade of our elevators so you shouldn't find the wait to be long at all in the future. It may be 30 to 45 seconds longer wait at peak times, such as breakfast time, but I wouldn't worry about any delays, they really are working super well nowadays.
Hopefully we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the very nerar future,
Thank you for staying with us,
Anthony

Just stayed the weekend and had a very enjoyable stay. Cleanliness is obviously a priority as every area of this hotel is spotless at all times. Easy check in and check out on a busy weekend. This Marriott does the little things well - many unexpected, like running self park guests in a club golf cart to the parking garage and offering us an umbrella to walk down the street with to lunch when it's pouring buckets outside. Very nice touch. Employees are very well trained and are dedicated to offering an outstanding experience.

We were very pleased to read your comments regarding our hotel and happy to see that you had an enjoyable weekend.

We have many wonderful associates at our hotel that look for better ways to care for our guests. One of the suggestions that came from our associates was the golf cart shuttle to escort our guests to and from the parking garage. It is our associates that make a difference.

Thank you again, and we hope that we have the opportunity to serve you again in the future.

I have stayed at this Marriott twice, most recently in May 2013. Both times were great. The rooms are very clean and very comfortable, and the location is wonderful. We walked to Target field from the hotel for a Twins game. The discounted parking was also nice. The only complaint that I have and its not even that big of a deal is that the lobby is on the fifth floor. I was a little confused on how to find it from the parking ramp, which isn't attached right next door, you have to walk a little ways through city center. I would recommend staying here, and will probably do so again if I have the opportunity.

You may have seen Kurt Boerner's response to a similar comment about the parking ramp, but just in case you didn't, we would like you to know that we now provide a shuttle from the garage to the hotel inside the City Center on Friday evenings and on Sunday mornings and on other days where we know we have a lot of people driving in, especially families with lots of luggage. We really appreciate all the feedback.
By the way, the golf cart shuttle comes from an idea given to us by one of our security officers, Jaimie Balderama.
Thank you so much for staying with us, we hope top see you back again very soon........maybe for an event at target Center or see the Vikings start their run to Super Bowl.

We stayed here in Septbember with friends from Germany. We were going to a Twins game and wanted the option to also go to some area bars/restaurants over the weekend. I did the reservation through Travelocity, which had a better price, but it made check-in confusing. The hotel is very nice, we really liked the rooms, and the beds were very comfortable. One thing that would make this place better is if it had continental breakfast. We were disappointment about that. There is food but obviously very expensive.

The walk from the parking ramp is kind of strange because you have to take two separate elevators to get to the hotel.

I'd stay here again. Clean and safe and close to many downtown attractions.

Dear Amy L.

Thank you for comments regarding your stay at our hotel. We are pleased that you and your friends had an enjoyable weekend. Our hotel is in the heart of the city which it makes it convenient to many local attractions.

Additional signage has been added from the parking garage to the hotel to assist our guests. On weekends, we provide a shuttle to and from the garage for our guests’ convenience. I hope you were able to take advantage of the shuttle during your stay.

We appreciate you staying with us.

This hotel is hard to disappoint - provided you aren't confusing staying in a major metropolitan area as staying in the suburbs. From the second you pull up the valet guys are on top of their game opened all the doors, hooked up bottles of waters, helped with bags and got you on your way.($30 overnight with in and out privileges)

The hotel is located about 1/2 block from Hennepin Avenue where all the night life is and 1/2 block from all the shopping and dining on Nicollet Mall. 7th Avenue is about half way down Nicollet Mall and Hennepin so great location.

Take the elevator to the lobby on 5 - airy obviously well cared for and beautiful. Paths to check in and guest rooms clearly marked. Real express check in line for elite members and treatment as such if you are. The gentleman was very quick with the process and recalled my name 10 minutes later when I had another question. Front desk was very accommodating in helping notify us of guests arrival.

For anyone like me who hates waiting for elevators you're in luck this hotel had 7 elevators servicing all 31 floors - almost no wait and speedy ascent / descent. The 29-31 floors are secured floors.

We had 2 rooms - the first was their 2 story suite on the secured floors. If you are having a get together this is a definite The amenities aren't huge here but the sheer room size is. We had 16 people in the room and it had no problems accommodating. Empty mini fridge and bar (great for group events). Dining table and plenty of seating to host everyone. Only downside was the ice machine was located on 29. The views from these rooms are out of this world with 2 story windows looking out over the city.

Second room was an executive suite on 29 - great corner room with windows covering all the exterior walls. Very spacious room with king bed and a nice sitting area with couch, and chair made a great second room for relaxing.

Staff was very polite on the one incident where a group of the guys were a little loud.

Highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Minneapolis for vacation or if you are hosting a party. Hotel and staff definitely made this party one that my friend will remember the rest of his life.

Room Tip: Building is a triangle - so ask for a corner room. 2 Floor suites are great for group get together...
