Stayed two nights (Sunday/Monday) in mid-August. Good location. There is lots to do within walking distance. We enjoyed a Twins game on Monday and walked to/from the park.

Hotel is older but well-maintained. Our room was a King Corner room. A second sink/vanity is located outside of the bath. This may have previously been a wet bar. Anyway, this sink had no towels, towel rack, or soap so to use it you had to take the items from the bath. This seemed strange. The room/bath was very clean. The air conditioner tended to cause the room to be about 3-4 degrees warmer in the morning than it was when we went to bed.

Bar/lounge is nice. Good drink selection. Ate in bar one night. We had seen restaurant personnel bring bar patron's food to the bar when it was ready. Apparently, they forgot us. After a good long wait, the bartender ended up leaving the bar to go get our food. Food was very good.

Very efficient check-in/check-out process and personnel.

Down to Mpls for a 3 day business trip and stayed at the Crowne Plaza Northstar. Second time at this location. The check in was fast and friendly. Nice large room. Rooms are nicely removed from the elevator area on the floor I was on. Clean and everything worked although here's where I pitch my pet peeve --- I hate those down filled duvets, they are way too hot. They are everywhere now and I wish a replacement blanket was put in every room so I could strip off the duvet, and use a regular blanket. There, that's done.

The bar downstairs served very good food. The location was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A very good business location.

Stayed here two nights in early August for R&R after a week of business travel - yeah seems a bit wierd, but it's nice to just relax in hotel and not be working!! The Crown Plaza Northstar has a great location and is well maintained. We had a Priority Club upgrade to the 17th floor and the corner room was wonderful. Very quiet and the room was well appointed. It's an older hotel, yet maintained very well with updated amenities. The club room on the 17th was nice place go grab some appetizers and a drink in a quiet setting. The bar downstairs on the ground floor was also a fun place in a hotel setting. It's an easy walk to the Target Center and other nice resturants. The staff was well trained and friendly.

Room Tip: Ask for room away from the elevators.

Great room, great location. Enjoyed it very much. Was there to attend the Creative Memories annual convention with 3000 other women. This hotel was great and the bar downstairs with the happy hour specials was wonderful.

I was at this hotel Aug1 st thru the 6th for a convention. When I got there my luggage had been misplaced on the shuttle from the airport. The gal at the desk hunted down my luggage and went to the hotel that it had gotten to by mistake. This gal went out of her way after her work day and went to the Ivy to get my Luggage. They staff at the desk ...you couldn't ask for better people. The housekeeping dept. was right on top of things. And Phillip at the main desk is a wonderful person. My overall experience was nothing than top notch.Great place to stay.

I stayed at the hotel for my nearby triathlon race. The hotel has excellent location, walking distance to almost anything downtown. Also, it was very easy to get from the airport and to mall of America using the convenient tram service. The hotel facilities are little outdated, but everything was super clean and the front staff are just wonderful people. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed here two nights. The room was very clean and had a nice big bathroom. It's always nice to have an extra sink outside the bathroom. The staff was very friendly. It is within walking distance of eating places and the convention center.

Room Tip: I don't think there was a spa or swimming pool.
