I would just like to thank Pat and Stephanie for all the help that they gave me when my daughter pulled out her feeding tube from her stomach, Pat said that the next available trip was in 15 mins and I told him I don't think we can wait that long. So he asked Stephanie to take us over to The Children's Emergency Department at Amplatz.

I just want the both of them to be recognized for helping out my two year old daughter and myself.

Thank You Pat and Stephanie!

We would most definatly stay here again. I would rather stay here than stay at the Radisson just down the road here.

It's not a 4 star hotel but the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the shower is hot. Excellent value at the U of M for sub-100 bucks.

Not bad! Staff was friendly and courteous! Room was very clean. Needed to book an extra night because of a death in the family and the night clerk was very accommodating with helping us with our reservation. We would stay again. The construction outside wasn't too bad once you got used to where you were going. Would stay again.

Room Tip: Nice and quiet! Restaurants within walking distance. Seems like a safe area.

Stayed one night in order to attend the MN Boys' State Basketball Tournament. Several first-round games were at Williams Arena and this hotel is just a short walk. Also, the parking was FREE for two days, which was a big plus! Staff was friendly, room was clean, breakfast was acceptable with waffles, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, etc. Several fast-food restaurants are nearby as well as a sports bar & grill around the corner. As it's so close to Williams Arena, TCF Stadium, and Mariucci Arena, it might be possible that rates would be higher for Gopher sporting events, so be sure to check in advance. It was a great deal for our stay, though.

Dear CazCoach,

Thanks for taking time to write a review! We always love to hear from our guests attending area events throughout the year. Our close location to TCF Stadium, Mariucci, and Ridder arena makes us one of the best options for Special Events in the area due to our parking, breakfast, and shuttle service. The MSHSL tournaments are always particularly so much fun in seeing parents and schools get excited about their hometown team make it to this level of competition.

Take care and we hope to see you back again next year!

Is it fancy, nope, is it upscale boutique, not on your life. It's convenient, clean, courteous and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They need to upgrade the rooms slightly but what the heck, we had a small refrigerator and a continental breakfast provided. It's fairly quiet if you're there on an off-sports weekend. We stayed here a number of times when visiting our daughter. It's easy on/off to I-94, walking distance to campus, in fact you're on campus, next door to TCF stadium and walking distance to the other sports venues and Dinkytown. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Although get ready for some major inconvenience when they bring the light rail down University street. I don't know what will happen then.

Room Tip: The rooms overlooking the back parking lot are quieter. The great thing is you can park in a parking...

Dear Location Location Location!

Thanks so much for taking time to write a review and you hit the nail on the head. It all comes down to location and value. We are located just across the street from TCF Stadium which is perfect for a Gopher Football Game, campus visit, or even a visit downtown to one of the many popular attractions in Minneapolis.

And talk about the food... With over 20+ restaurants within walking distance and even more options with the shuttle into downtown. Minneapolis is the ultimate food town in my opinion and next time you are here, just ask the front desk for suggestions and directions for anything from Al's Diner to Oceanaire and they will be happy to help you out!

Thanks again and I hope to see you back at the Days Hotel on University soon!

We stayed here one night for a campus tour. The hotel is perfectly located for that. It is very clean and the price was lower than others in the area, especially since parking was free. The beds were fine and the fridge plus table with 2 chairs are nice features. Wifi was spotty and slow. It was reasonably quiet when we were there but it sounded like buses were running frequently all night from our room facing University Avenue, not that loud but the kind of thing that would wake a lighter sleeper. Based on other reviews, we skipped the hotel breakfast and ate out instead.

Room Tip: Maybe the rooms that don't face University Ave have less road noise.

Dear Hopefully Future U of M Parent,

Thank you for taking time to provide feedback and a nice review of the Days Hotel on University! We agree that parking is a necessity when visiting the University of Minnesota area and we are happy to provide that amenity. We also offer free continental breakfast with waffles and have recently increased our Wi-Fi access to better meet our guests' needs.

Good luck to the student in your family as they explore their college options and we hope to have you back at the U and at the Days Hotel on University very soon! Go Gophers!

We have stayed at this location numerous times. The rooms have always been clean, and the staff very pleasant and accommodating. We stay at this hotel when we need to go to Fairview hospital. They have a special rate to help families who need to stay nearby the hospital. They have a shuttle to the hospital, but it is within walking distance. For Minnesota Gophers fans, the hotel is right next to the stadium. The breakfast is adequate, consisting of cereal, waffles, rolls, etc. There are numerous places within walking distance to eat, with quite a variety of ethnic foods in the area. My personal favorite is the Caspian Bistro located across the street. This is a Persian restaurant where the food is excellent, and the people at the restaurant and the market are extremely friendly. I always enjoy trying something different, and was very pleased with the Caspian.
