This is a great property built into an old bank right in downtown. The rooms are impeccable and I had probably the best nights sleep of my life.

I also highly recommend the restaurant (B.A.N.K). Great selection of cocktails and a fresh menu.

Just returned home from two nights in Minneapolis where I stayed at the Westin. The stay was quite enjoyable. I had no complaints about the room, which was spacious, clean and clearly fairly recently renovated. The king size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom, with its double shower head, one of the better I've experienced in US hotels. The service was generally good and staff very friendly, with the exception of the young lady in the reception who checked me in. Nothing really bad with her either, just that a little smile and a friendly word beyond business would never hurt. Everyone else in the reception and the concierge did make up for it through their friendliness and helpfulness.
Another plus with the hotel is its location smack in the middle of downtown Minneapolis. The hotel is a walking distance from virtually anywhere one wants to go in the city (my main destination was the Convention Center, which was about 15 minutes briskly on foot). And if one is weary of the cold (it snowed on October 25!), one can get to most places never leaving the warmth of the Skyway.

Showed up yesterday with a guaranteed reservation after a long flight. The front desk told me that there were no rooms available. They said that nearby hotels were all booked but were able to find me a room at an inn outside of downtown and would cover the cost. I then called my travel agent and was immediately able to get a room at the Grand Hotel two blocks away. Apparently the front desk was trying to stuff me in the cheapest room they could find and didn't offer to pay for my stay at the Grand.

We usually stay at the Marriott when we are in Minneapolis for business. This time we decided to stay at the Westin, and we are happy that we did. Check in was smooth, room was very comfortable (can't beat the Westin bed). Perfect location. Convenient to restaurants, shopping and the train to the airport. Will definitely stay here again

Stayed here on a quick trip in and out. Location makes it easy to walk to restaurants, shopping, Target Center and Target Field. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were a bit small for a Four Star hotel and the bathroom seemed crowded. No parking except valet ($30) on grounds.

I just had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt. Check in was good as was the check out. The hotel is very nice the bar is realy nice looking and the rooms were clean. The only reason this is not 5 stars is the valet had to be asked to get us a luggage cart even after seeing 2 people with 4 bags and a large cooler not a big deal but she should have offered with out us needing to ask.
