I made reservations for my group at work for lunch time. We were going to be entertaining a new member of our staff and wanted to take him to a great place. We were not disappointed! The food was excellent, as was the service. And the prices were about average for downtown Minneapolis. On a side note, there are very few places in downtown Minneapolis where you'll pay less. There is plenty of seating for any number of people and the staff seems very accomodating. I am a co-lead of our events committee and am in charge of coordinating our holiday party for this year. This place will be at the top of my list!

Loved the appetizers, well made drinks, Fish Tacos were excellent! Quick service on busy Sat night. Had carrot cake and brownie dessert, both excellent, needed a doggie bag for extra's. Very attentive waiters, put group of 4 in quieter area so we could talk, bar is very noisy.

Had the creole jumbalya and it was surprisingly good for MInnesota. Could have been a bit spicier. Not much for a vegetarian diet.

We ate here before our play at the Orpheum and it was pretty good. We had the Guacamole as an appetizer which, while very good and freshly made, was about the equivalent of a single avocado for almost $9. Poor value on that one! That being said, the location is great and the rest of the food was very good and reasonable. If you are going to a play or event at one of the theaters, this is a great choice. Just make sure you make a reservation well in advance since walk-in (even during the week) is almost impossible and it's unlikely you'd be able to even stand at the bar much less eat.

We have always come here for the food. The beer depends on the freedom they give the brewer. This location tends to have some great small batch beers, and generally a good cask, although their selection is somewhat limited.
