This is a nice university pub with some decent food. We enjoyed some of their beers which you can get by the pitcher. They have an outside area out next to the bar that was charming with lights and flowers. It is however the place where everyone smokes. We had a the hummus platter with our first pitcher and black bean burgers with our second pitcher. The food was very good and plated nicely. Service was not friendly but efficient. When we left the music was gearing up in the bar which we would have stayed for if we could have as it sounded great. I would go here again!

The food was very good!! The beers look amazing but I was just having lunch. It could use a good cleaning. The fabric hanging from the ceiling was bad news!!

Good selection of beer. Live music (sometimes too loud to talk to others at your table). Not a lot of seats. So if you're going for something popular, consider arriving a little earlier if you want a table. Generally caters to the young 20-30yo NPR / thick plastic glasses crowd. But I think anyone would feel comfortable.

This is one of those places to go to when you want basic bar food that is good and is not over priced. They have a great selection of beer and wine. The menu items tend to taste good but is heavy on fried/deep fried items. You order at the bar and they bring it over to your table. At night it is often crowded and sometimes loud as there is often a music group playing. Located near the "U" of Minnesota's west bank campus and by local art venues, this is a great place to stop before or after doing something else. This location is a recent change from their Franklin Ave one. The baked good options seemed to have declined with the move. This place pulls in a wide-ranging crowd in terms of ages, races and fashion sense. A wonderful place to hang-out and people watch passersby as you just chill or await your next scheduled event.
