My wife and I visited this restaurant on a Saturday morning and had their five-course breakfast. Each course had three possible selections, so between us, we tried two-thirds of the items and essentially made it a ten-course tasting meal. It was incredible. Every course was so delicious and so carefully prepared. The atmosphere was so relaxing and pleasant, and the view was beautiful. Most importantly, the service was absolutely perfect. Our server, Gibson, was attentive without becoming annoying. Our meal was perfectly paced, and we never needed anything. The manager, Cory stopped by a couple times and made sure all was well, and he was very friendly. We opted for unlimited champagne and mimosa's with our meal, and always had full glasses. And the coffee was excellent too. The only caution I would give is that the coursed meal takes a little while to get through, so order off the regular menu if you're in a hurry, but you should definitely try this place. We travel to eat. Because we didn't have much experience with Minneapolis, we carefully selected the restaurants we tried on our three-day visit, and this was easily the best.

We had reservations for dinner for Saturday evening....while we were dressed pretty casually with jeans/sweaters, most people were really dressed with guys wearing suits and gals wearing dresses with heels. But that didn't stop us from enjoying our 5 course meal and martinis. Everything we ate was excellent...presentation and taste. Small plates, so the amount of food wasn't overwhelming. Service was great as was the view outside to the street. Best was the live piano music in the background. While the parking lot was full with valet parking...we just parked on the street and walked less than a block to the restuarant. While a bit pricey...the easy to get to downtown and park location made it worth it. Next time, we will come in a warmer weather month, when we could enjoy a walk along the Mississippi river after enjoying our dinner.

We enjoyed the 5 course tasting brunch. All of our choices were excellent. We especially enjoyed the quiche, beet salad and the salmon. I'm guessing the view is even prettier in the spring and summer, but the snow and the river were lovely as well. The tasting brunch is a lot of food. When we return we will probably order off the breakfast menu--but it was a splurge day and we really enjoyed ourselves. Service was a bit slow, but we weren't in a hurry so we just sat back and enjoyed ourselves.
