I went w/ a group for a recent holiday. I am not supposed to eat gluten or dairy. I looked up their menu online before going, and was excited to see they now offer some options that are at least gluten free, but I guess they want to put dairy in everything, so I settled on their Chicken Limone, which has butter... figured I would take one for the team. When we got to the table, there were some menus sitting there, but not enough for everyone in our reserved party, nor was the waitress there for me to ask her for a special menu, so it is a good thing I looked it up online before going. It is important for people to have menus.
The food that everyone else ate looked good. Too bad there is cheese in all of their salad options. So, I patiently watched everyone else eat salad, pizza, spaghetti, and waited for my order. My order turned out to be just chicken. No vegetable, no gluten free pasta. Just chicken, capers and lots of buttery lemon sauce. I am not jumping over the moon for this. It tasted good, yes, but a little variety would have been nice.
They gave us a booth & put a table next to it for our group. The booth was very hard, straight up and down wood, no padding. Our backs were uncomfortable sitting there, and we all wished we had gotten a round table instead. Oh well. Price was pretty reasonable. I don't think I would rush back there unless they add some better options to their menu for people who can't eat gluten+dairy, but overall it was just fine.
