Description: Rudolphs is the most honored bar-b-que producer in the Twin Cities for over 39 years. Independent and family owned and operated, we have twice won "Best Ribs in America." Our unrivaled ribs are rubbed with spices and slow cooked in our custom pit. Our creamy cole slaw is just as famous as our ribs. However, Rudolphs is more than just ribs and cole slaw. Beef brisket, steak, burgers, hearty sandwiches, flatbreads and pasta make your dining choice difficult (No apologies). Serving an extensive local craft beer selection!

What more could you ask for in a restaurant? Even my choice of wine was half price on the bottle. The food was served fast and the ribs were perfect. The décor is very interesting and features no other that one of Hollywood’s best male actor; Rudolph Valentino. The Black and White images throughout the restaurant were very detailed and showed scenes from some of his best movies. Seating throughout is well laid out with plenty of booths for quiet conversation. I will definitely come back as close as tonight.
This is a perfect example of a restaurant that is: Very Well located, free parking, warm greetings at the door, great seating, beautiful imagery, hot delicious food, superb desserts and overall comfortable atmosphere.

Second time here. Had the brisket dinner included salad and potatoes Meat was extremely tender and I got a large serving. Could not finish it all. Travel partner had the BBQ chicken said it was the best BBQ ever. Even better than the pulled pork and brisket. Dustin was wait person. Knowledgable and advised on menu, talked about the complexity of tastes. Will go there again when in Minneapolis.

We ate dinner at Rudolph's last Saturday night. We've been going there for over 30 years. It is still the best place for Bar-b-que in the Twin Cities. I had the St. Louis style Spare Ribs and they were wonderfull. Perfect rub, smoke and done just right. Jimmy the owner came over to our table to ask how everything was.

Some places stay great and Rudolph's Bar-B-Que sure has.

Best ribs in town!  Meaty, lean, tasty.  Just the right amount of sauce.  Great wings, too.  Cole slaw and baked beans were excellent, as well.  Service from Theresa was great!

Rudolph's was one of the first bar-b-que establishments in Minneapolis that wasn't a "joint" or just a take-away. Years ago, circa 1978 or so, the ad execs used to take me to lunch there, and it has remained popular. Great location on Lyndale & Franklin, and those interested in city history should note it was the former pool hall "Gables".

I had a Steals certificate, so decided to do a return after many years. Not a huge BBQ fan but still Dave's in Uptown is better and Dave's prices a bit lower. Dear husband had the two meat combo: baby back ribs and beef brisket; BIL had the chicken, and I had the beef brisket. Generous portions, fab baked potato (not microwaved!) and overall, it was pretty good. Expensive though-perhaps they should cut down on the portions and lower the prices. Uneven service - the hostess was great, loud music, over-airconditioned. They do a M-F happy hour.
