“Wonderful breakfasts”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

This is our favorite downtown Minneapolis restaurant for breakfast. We recommend anything on their menu. Our favorites include: homemade tomato juice, lemon ricotta pancakes, vegetable egg fritatas, yogurt. We even used them for carry out for a large morning after a wedding affair. Service is good and they have more seating in their newer location. I'm not a big fan of the waitstaff lounge/pajama attire. Wish this restaurant was closer to where we live.

“Great for Sunday Brunch”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

We have eaten at Hell's Kitchen twice now and each time has been very good. We did not have reservations but got there before 9:00 am. We noted both times leaving at around 10:30 there were lines getting in. So if you go late you should have a reserved table. I like thier coffee, bold but not bitter and they keep your cup full. On the most recent visit I opted for the classic all american breakfast with bison sausage. The eggs if memory serves are organic. My wife had the Vegetable Frittata with fresh fruit and thought it was quite good. You also must try the peanut butter. Its homemade and great with your toast. The place is pricey, but a place to experience.

Had the lemon ricotta hot cakes before a Vikings game and they were fantastic! The had cartoons on a jumbo screen and the wait staff were in pajamas. Cool place.

“Best Breakfast or Late Night”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

Home made Peanut Butter and Marmalade. Home made Bison sausage bread is outstanding. Really cool place with friendly, helpful waiters that will give you the lowdown on what's amazing. I had a Huevos Rancheros dish that I still dream about.

Our dinner was so good we came back for breakfast. The lemon riccata hot cakes were so good I can't remember what we had for dinner the two night before. We plan on returning again.
