“Skyway needs some work to be tourist friendly.”
Reviewed November 18, 2012 via mobile

A great concept, walking in enclosed skyways between buildings throughout the downtown area. However there are problems for novice and tourists. The first and largest problem is a lack of signage in the walkways. We had no idea which direction to go much of the time. Second we walked it on Sunday. Everything is closed so there is no one to ask directions from. So I guess that if you walked it frequently you would eventually figure out where to go. But for the occasional user it is at best, difficult.

“Relaxed walking”
Reviewed November 17, 2012

I love going through the Minneapolis skyway. I sure beat going outside walking the side walks. Especially in the cold of winter and in the hot heat of the summer time.
Its fun to be above everthing and looking down through those big window. so much to see up there.

“Winter time shopping”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

No need to fear the winters in Minneapolis, the Skyway system will keep you warm and dry. Walk from Neiman Marcus, Macy's, Saks, and lots of boutique stores.

“Out of the elements”

The Skyway system will get you from one end of Downtown Minneapolis to the other without ever going outside. Great when it is wet and when it is cold
