Loring Park is an easy walk from downtown Minneapolis. The park is a nice place to sit and relax. The down side is the traffic noise and homeless people.

Lovely walks around the pond, tennis courts and gardens. A garden in the city. Very close to the Walker Art museum and sculpture garden, you can spend the whole day strolling in a lovely setting.

A nice place to take a stroll around a pond with a friend. There's a cute little dog park. Just an over-all pleasant place, and if you need coffee Dunn brothers is just across the street.

Check out Loring Park when you visit the Walker and Sculpture Garden -- a pedestrian bridge to walk across. It's an urban park for a short stroll -- beautiful fountain.

The park is absolutely gorgeous! It was a perfect weather day, and walking from the Hyatt was the best way to get to the park with out driving. I was also happy to be able to cross the "overpass" bridge to see the sculpture garden on the other side. Volunteers were out that day tending to the gardens. Just sitting on a park bench and watching the world go by after walking the trails was a blessing!
