If you enjoy high end travel at moderate prices this is the place for you! Modern yet warm design greets you as you enter the spacious lobby. The 4th floor elevator exchange for the private elevators available only to registered guests lends an air of exclusivity to your stay. The entire hotel is dimly lit and adds to a romantic atmosphere to couples. The rooms are lovely, with the decor similar to the hotels of Iceland. Very unique glass headboard with etched skyline of Minneapolis. We had a beautiful New Year's Eve at the Graves and would stay again in an instant! Truly one of the most lovely and upscale hotels in the Metro!

Room Tip: Room 707 does not have a very nice view, although the room was lovely nonetheless. We didn't spe...

My one night stay at the end of my Minneapolis trip convinced me that graves 601 is not your typical Wyndham hotel and should be a first choice if your stay involves either Target Field, the Target Center or the theatres on Hennepin Avenue. Modern, state-of-the art bathrooms. Small-to-medium sized rooms are balanced by the spectacular views out the window. The only caveat is the cosmos Restaurant seemed a bit over the top and my wait for the check in an empty restaurant seemed a bit much.

Room Tip: High numbered rooms mean a view of Target Field if you are facing north and downtown Minneapolis if...

Graves 601 is located across from the Target Center and within walking distance of several must do's while in Minneapolis! The room was wonderfully modern and we had a beautful view of the City. The staff was very helpful and efficient, especially the Valet parking. I have stayed here before, in the early morning we experienced a lot of noise of people getting moving for the day. Thought I would have a Sunday paper at my door, that I was asked if I wanted to receive, no paper. We didn't visit the restaurant or lounge but have in the past.

A very good hotel that is close to a five. I'd call it 4 1/5. My reasons for holding back on a 5 rating are just a few odds and ends, mostly cosmetic stuff. If you stayed here expecting a 4 star hotel you will be delighted. If you thought you might say ...not quite. What's wrong is not much, paint chips her and there, wood window sills that are abused by condensation, a bartender that just didn't quite give a great vibe, a ground level entry/ check in that requires you to switch elevators to get to the floors with rooms.nothing bad or chronic, just not absolutely perfect. STILL, very good; comfortable, quiet and clean and good staff
