We love the FOSHAY! It's the Minneapolis version of The Empire State building in NYC, smaller of course, more accessible, quiet and romantic. The building was completely restored around the 2006-2007 and converted to a hotel. And the tiny observation deck and museum reminds me of a small town museum where you really get the flavor of the town. From the moment you step into the lobby of the W hotel, or the entrance to Key's Cafe, you're wrapped in classic art deco supreme. Go to Prohibition, the tre-chic bar on the 27th floor. Arrive before 5:15 so you'll have your choice of tables, views and happy hour drinks until 7 - a very generous experience! Forsure go to the Foshay!

The front desk was great, especially James, with my reservation. I had prepaid my stay and got there a day late, yet they honored the reservation. The room was great, but the bathroom a little small. If you are doing business in downtown or going to a baseball game, this hotel is in a perfect place.

The Foshay Tower is a pretty cool museum/lookout place in downtown Minneapolis. The tower has an interesting history that you can read about near the top of the tower. The views are great and fun. Be careful as it can be very windy up there.

The Foshay used to be the tallest building in the Minneapolis skyline. Now it is dwarfed by the other buildings, but still worth a look around.

Gorgeous views of the city. Good cocktails. Art deco feel. Great and affordable hotel. The company was very satisfied with the W experience and the visits to the top of the tower made the trip all the more notable.
