“Just great!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

This restaurant has a great menu that changes seasonally to allow for the freshest ingredients. The offerings are not your run-of-the-mill american food. They like to mix things up, like the beet hummus which is fantastic.
The restaurant is in a converted garage and the feel is funky and intimate because of the size which is fairly small. The art on the walls is made up of mixed media boxes by artist Tim Schweitzer- which are fun and eclectic. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the daily specials, etc.

“Food worth fighting the hipsters for.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

After a failed trip to the indoor farmers market, we stopped by Wise Acre because we had a toddler who couldn't be in the car for 5 minutes without eating. Best surprise ever. The breakfast was outstanding - poached eggs with some of the most beautiful yolks ever, amazing Carmelized Brussels sprouts, and spicy sausage that was out of the world. I tend to stay away from the trendy eateries where the majority of the clientele have skinny jeans and dark rimmed glasses, but I'll fight the hipsters any time for another chance at an amazing breakfast.

“Farm love”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

Love Wise Acre for breakfast. Veggie hash is my dish of choice. Not a finely chopped dish it is chunky, tasty and flavorful. Best cottage bacon (not fatty) ever, aioli is a great accompaniment to the dish. The marmalades/jams are fresh and are made with interesting combinations of ingredients. Love being able to have a mimosa if I am so inclined. I could do with a less acidic cup of coffee but all in all it's a great food experience. Though not cheap, the food quality is excellent. Don't open till 9 on the weekends so early birds beware - it's time to relax.

“Great fresh food from the farm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012 via mobile

We ate lunch there yesterday and it was excellent. The beet borscht soup was delicious. The hamburger with brie and bacon I had was really flavorful and filling but not too large. The Autumn Salad was fabulous mixture with wild rice, chicken, roasted squash, beets, bacon steak and pickled egg over greens with a light dressing. Fun decor from converted gas station. We will go again and highly recommend.
