Super interesting and the exhibits vary so there is always something new and different to see and learn. They have the most amazing gift shop managed by Michael. It has proven to be a real drain on my wallet but so worth it :) !!!!

My wife and I toured the museum recently for the exhibit on the Romanov's. The exhibit was fabulous. The leader of our tour did a wonderful job describing the history behind the theme of the exhibit. We'll be going back for their next exhibit.

I spent several hours wandering around the museum and it was such a treat. There were three floors, one had really wonderful paintings, another had Holiday traditions from the Soviet era and the main floor had the Romanov display. The Romanov area was very interesting. As a history lover I really enjoyed seeing the items and the explanations. Wow, it was great, Also don't miss the gift shop, really wonderful offerings, loved the Amber jewelry and the other offerings.

I spent the morning of Black Friday at this museum and was just delighted in all there was to see. Two floors of this former church were devoted to the Romanov dynasty. The final ruling family was cruelly murdered, and has been fodder for movies, books and speculation. The bottom floor had wonderful Russian Impressionist paintings as well as a sweet collection of New Years tree ornaments. A tiny sail boat was my favorite. The gift shop was a delight, with friendly clerks and delicious hot tea. I will visit again.

The recently opened exhibition regarding the reign of Nicholas II and the fall of the Tsars in 1917 was wonderful. As a history buff, it was great to see artifacts from the final royal family of Russia. The exhibit included maps, historic books, clothing, photograph and artwork, personal belongings, etc. Not a huge place, but well worth the visit! The secondary exhibit of Russian paintings was also enjoyable.
