This was the first time we have been to the ASI since the addition. The additional space has been effectively integrated into the whole experience. We went for the Christmas displays and will have to come back for the restaurant. The displays were outstanding and give you a good look at what life was/is in the Scandinavian countries. A welcome improvement is the gift shop with more room and more product. The employees were exceptionally helpful.

Ate at Fika was excellent, but they need pagers so people can explore the mansion while waiting for a table. They seemed highly unorganized to handle such a large crowd, but the wait was worth it. The mansion is worth seeing and I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent choices in the gift shop

The Christmas displays (especially Denmark) were fabulous! Will come again. Need to say more for the 50 character minimum - how stupid.

Great building, really interesting story and really important context for those who move to Minneapolis from less Scandinavian parts of the country. Tapestry exhibit is fantastic; it will really change how you think about wall weaving.

The Institute is an excellent place to learn this history of the Swedish community in Minnesota and the region. The building that houses it is worth the visit.
