“Outstanding Ballpark...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2013

This is simply a great ballpark, widely recognized as one of the best in US, with a number of awards - e.g., "The Sports Facility of the Year" in 2011, ESPN Award for #1 Sports Stadium Experience in North America, and described by Ballpark Digest as "one of the best places anywhere to watch a baseball game no matter what the season or circumstances".

Great design, with a mix of classic (e.g., Twins sign in center field) and modern (limestone, glass, metal), offering uninterrupted views of the field (great seats everywhere, and plenty of places to stand, grab a bite and watch the game), with great mix of homages to Minnesota (native Minnesota limestone) and the Twins and Twin players everywhere - e.g., original flagpole from the old Metropolitan Stadium. And, beautiful views of downtown skyline. It's just top notch.

You have great transportation options - including light rail and great parking immediate outside park. And, great food - of every variety - with some Minn classics.

Hands down, our favorite ballpark.

Suggestions:

1. Grab seats on the third base line - incredible views of downtown skyline.

2. Take a Tour: Take a group, or as we did, private, tour of stadium. Walk field, sit in dugout, see locker room, visit various clubs and pressbox, and get a feel for the incredible set of historic artifacts, memorabilia and mementos throughout the facility (the team's archivists / historians and the park architects & designers did an amazing job - items of significance and tributes throughout. Go to: "minnesota.twins.mlb.com/min/ballpark/tours"

3. Hrbek's for Bloody Mary; Kramarczuk's for a Brat or real Polish Sausage.

4. If driving, come in off Hwy 394 into (Mpls downtown) where you see the A,B & C Parking Garages - and exit for Garage A. Go up ramp and exit to the side closest to Stadium. You can walk straight across street a few hundred feet and walk right into the Home Plate Entrance. At games end, it's a quick walk across, and minutes before you're back on to 394. Best parking any venue in MSP.

“Great baseball experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013

If you love baseball, there is no better place to watch a game. Whether a fancy box or way up high in the bleachers - it's built for enjoying the game. Food, facilities, staff to assist are all top notch. Even getting there is easy - parking is reasonably priced, and the light rail drops you off at the door - even closer than Wrigley field.

“Wow”

I walked by the field at night and everything was lit up! The field is big and amazing! I have not been inside the field, but I plan to go to a game once the season starts.

“What an Upgrade!”

The Dome has nothing on this delightful stadium! I have been several times and this makes Minneapolis one of the best cities to catch a game. The summer weather makes this stadium all the more enjoyable!
