Dining at Ginger Hop wasn't our intention--my wife and I had planned to dine at another restaurant in Northeast, but discovered it closed. So we wandered down the street and found Ginger Hop. So glad we did!
First thing that struck us was the design: the arched ceiling with old-fashioned paddle fans snapping back and forth in unison, the dark wood, the inviting bar.
Service was excellent and the food was wonderful. I had a yellow curry with tofu; my wife chose the Penang curry with pork. These two dishes, plus an appetizer of Banh Mi Spring Roll, plus two beers for forty dollars.
We'll definitely return!
