“Beautiful hotel with excellent staff”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

We went here from the 7th to 14th September and had a very enjoyable, very relaxing holiday. The staff were brilliant and very attentive, what impressed me most was that after a few of them had spoken to us once they remembered our names and even our room number.

They arranged transport to and from the airport for us, and were exceptionally organised in this respect, giving you a form to fill in with flight details a couple of days before your departure which they then use to work out a schedule of when they will take everyone that is leaving to the ports (air and ferry) to get them there in time for their flights/ferries.

The private beach section was better than I expected, staffed by the hotel with the ability to order drinks and charge them to the room. The sun beds in this section are free so we didn't venture into the other part of the beach (well not for sun beds anyway, there are some water sports further along the beach).

The pools were exceptional too, they have a bar and a restaurant in the pool area with staff who couldn't do enough for you and food that was delicious. I cannot recommend the strawberry ice cream enough! Occasionally a member of staff would come round with fresh fruit for us, and also a member of the spa staff would come round with creams and lotions for you to try.

The breakfast service was efficient and had a good selection of food, from cereal and toast, to bacon and eggs, to meats and cheeses.

I can honestly say this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in, and I think we will definitely be staying there again in the future,

I had the pleasure of visiting Mykonos and staying at this wonderful hotel! I was with my husband and remained there for 5 days! The island is amazing, but more amazed I was by the hotel accomodation and the upper level of service! The reception area seemed to know what we needed ahead of us! I would like to personally thank miss Merlyn at the receprion for the personal service and her professionalism! She really upgraded my vacation! Thank you my dear Merlyn! Not to forget miss Matilda at the wonderfull a' la carte restaurant for her genuine smile and the personal interest! Hope you all visit this hotel, trust me, is worth it!

Room Tip: Whatever you choose, you will not be disappointed!

We just returned from 4 nights at the Myconian Imperial, and had a terrific time!
Elia beach is beautiful, the hotel is located on a cliff just above it, so the view is amazing. All rooms have a sea-view, but note that in some of the rooms, the view is partly obstructed by the wall of the adjacent balcony. This was the case in the room we were first given, but after informing the staff of our discontent, we were moved to a different room the following day.
Service at the hotel is courteous and above-satisfactory at all levels - the reception, the pool bar and restaurant, bell boys and shuttle drivers. I especially would like to point out the nice lady that services the pool area the whole day and does it with great efficiency and most importantly - with a smile.
We spent most of our time relaxing by the pool (note that it's a salt water pool); during the day fresh fruit and cold, refreshing towels were distributed to the people around the pool, which was a very nice touch.
The shuttle service to Mykonos town in very helpful, though it is not so frequent during the day. We intentionally chose this location though we knew it is a bit distant from the city, so we didn't mind it too much, but take this into account if you're more into sight-seeing. Renting a motorbike or car is also possible, of course.
The turn-down room service in the evening is also a nice idea, and in general the room was clean and well-equipped. I personally found the mattress fairly uncomfortable, but this is subjective - my husband had no problem sleeping. Note there are some mosquitoes flying around, but I think you can ask the reception for a plug-in mosquito repellent, and they also put some anti-mosquito towelettes in the rooms.
Breakfast is just fine - there's a large variety to choose from, nothing extraordinary in terms of the food. The nice additions are free sparkling wine and freshly squeezed orange juice, and you can also request espresso or cappuccino on top of the regular coffee or tea.
We ate at the snack bar by the pool several times and everything was good and fresh. A bit pricey, but this was expected.
On other occasions we ate at the "Elia" restaurant just near the hotel and enjoyed it a lot.

All in all, our stay at Imperial was pampering and relaxing, just like we'd hoped.
We strongly recommend it and would be happy to return!

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room with an open view to the sea.

Dear Inbal B,

Thank you for writing such an extensive review about your stay at the Myconian Imperial. Your kind and positive comments shared online is a very big reward for us and our daily effort in providing a unique hospitality experience to our guests.

Due to the structure of our Resort, all of our rooms have sea view. However, we always offer alternatives to our guests at any point during their stay that our service does not meet their expectations, either by providing another room or any additional services like mosquito repellent towels, adapters etc. Having visited all of our departments you will have certainly noticed that each member of our staff is present in order to make your stay comfortable and pleasant every time and every day.

The short distance from Mykonos town is what adds to the serene and relaxing environment of the Resort and one can easily overcome this by using the complimentary shuttle service, renting a vehicle or using the taxi service.
Thank you in advance for recommending us and we will be looking forward to seeing you again in the near future.

Kind regards,
Markos Daktylides

i had the time of my life in this hotel a few days ago, i went there for my honeymoon, the hotel was EXTREMELY clean, they cleaned the rooms TWICE a day, they also check if anything is missing, they always ask you what you might need before you even realize it. the STAFF is PERFEEEEEEEEEEECT, very friendly, helpful, Matilda the receptionist was more than helpful with guidance, reservations, organizing stuff as if we were the only people in the hotel, Stelious the Bell Boy took care of everything for us, even drove us twice when we missed transportation.

The rooms were more than comforting, it felt private, clean, organized and FULL of pampering facilities,

Breakfast was full of varieties, so yummy, their food was great in general

The view is amazing, sea view for all the rooms,

the only problem is that they are about 20 minutes away from down town, but you won't need to go there a lot and however, they have a free shuttle bus that takes you to and from there very frequently.

in short, was the best and most amusing accommodation i have ever had and i will definitely come back again when i can,

Room Tip: if you can choose the room with the hot tub, very nice and private.

Thank you very much for sharing you comments online. We are very pleased to hear that we have managed to offer you such an overwhelming experience during your recent stay.
We consider teamwork to be our “key” element in recognizing beforehand and being proactive to our guests needs. We do give great importance to detail but the truth is that the friendly and helpful staff is what makes the difference! Matilda and Stelios will be very happy when I forward your compliments to them.
We will be waiting for you to return at the Myconian Imperial again one day! All the best to your new beginning!

Excellent stay in a beautiful and very friendly hotel. Set on the side of a cliff where all rooms have a stunning sea view I believe. The decor, all blues and whites, is very tasteful. The service is both friendly and helpful. In particular Stefanos and the blonde bar lady who stayed polite and cheerful despite seemingly working all day/eve every day!
Best thing apart from the staff and view was the hot tub overlooking the sea which we stayed in even as the sun went down.
The only down sides were the uncomfortable 3rd bed and that the shuttle should run more frequently as there was a bit of a stampede when it arrived to get a seat!

Room Tip: All heave sea view

Dear 123sunseeker,

We would like to thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about your recent stay at the Myconian Imperial.

We apologize if we did not manage to provide the comfort you were seeking in your third bed, and we surely know how important a good night’s sleep is, especially when on vacation. Should you had informed us after you first night we would have certainly found a solution for you.

As for the complimentary shuttle service, we would like to inform you that there is always a seat available if not with the first bus with the second or next, until all guests are transferred securely to their destination.

Thank you for choosing the Myconian Imperial for your vacation and we hope to welcome you again in the future!

We had a great stay in this hotel. We loved everything about it from the first minute we step there. The location is beautiful, set just 2 min away from the beautiful Elia beach. The hotel provides beach towels and a private beach on the left side of Elia. There is also a mini van to take you lazy ones to the beach and back to the hotel.
The shuttle service to Mykonos town is convenient with most buses leaving in the evening since that’s when the action in town starts. Check with the front desk for the schedule.
The rooms are beautifully decorated and I believe all of them have great views since the hotel is built on a small hill, ours sure did! They are kept clean throughout the day with twice a day maid service.
Τhe restaurants offer a variety of dining options, we ate at least once in all of them. The quality of the food is totally worth its price, considering the large portions as well. The service was very good and attentive. They help us pick some very tasty dishes. Their new sushi restaurant is also very good and has a beautiful view.
We had some treatments also at the Spa center, one of which we highly recommend is the Mykonian Hot Stone. We had also some Thalassotherapy treatments included in our reservation, which are done in an outdoor setting that we enjoyed very much.
The front desk staff was very helpful and always eager to assist in any possible way. We arranged for a rental, an excursion to Delos (must do!) and some restaurant reservations through them and we were very pleased from our choices.
Special thanks to Bachir!

Room Tip: We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to spend some relaxed time on a beach resort, for bo...
