Originally myself and my better half were due to check into the Imperial down the road. Originally I was absolutely fuming because they hadn't given us much notice of the seasonal closure. Exactly two days to be honest. I had arranged with the imperial a sea view room for the class of room which they had agreed to arrange. In the email the management sent It was stated we would be moved to a Garden View, which wasn't exactly what we had asked for. After a fairly stern email they quickly came back promising to arrange a similar room. They even upgraded us, which was a lovely touch.

When we arrived we were greeted with a lovely welcome and was shown to our room by the very kind lady who checked us in. During the walk she was exceptionally informative and told us about all the lovely querks and amenities this hotel has to offer.

When we arrived at the room we were greeted with the most exceptional room that had a view to die for. She managed to find a room with a jacuzzi which was just such a lovely gesture, there was a bottle a wine waiting and the room was made up to an exceptional standard.

We went down stairs to the bar which was possibly one of the best bars I have been too. The interior and exterior design was simply divine and the cocktails were even better. The barmen were truly knowledgable and it was super refreshing to see that they weren't trying to sell us the most expensive drinks on the menu. Many people here have complained about the pricing and at first it did take me back, but after the first sip, I soon realised that they were perfect. Once we left the bar they gave us a bottle of cold water to take to the room, many people have also complained about no free water in the rooms.. just ask? doesn't hurt to ask.

The breakfast is absolutely phenomenal, excellent quality and choice. It was a pleasure sitting there for a while whilst being served to an incredible standard!

The pool is delightful, again perfectly appointed cocktails and lovely and refreshing pools.

I would just like to say thank you to all the staff for their incredible service and answering any questions with haste and professionalism.

We haven't even checked out yet but I already can't wait to come back.

Do your self a favour and book this hotel. You absolutely will not be disappointed.

I have to tell you that this was my first trip to Greece and I was celebrating a milestone birthday. The staff answered all of my questions and handled all of my request from booking my spa and planning a birthday dinner. I stayed in room 611 and it was AMAZING! I was blown away with having my own private pool and views of the ocean to die for!
Lazaros Gkiatis in Guest services made my Birthday one I will never forget. The hotel is gorgeous.
The breakfast is top notch with champagne and my favorite Bloody Mary's. I had the best massage ever and the restaurant was fine dining at it's best. Unfortunately we were having so much fun that we did not want to leave the property. Therefore I will have to return soon to tour Mykonos. Look no further . Utopia=Heaven on Earth
Cannot wait to return!

Room tip: Room 611 the best view and private pool

This is the most beautiful hotel ever. We arrived here after a big let down at another hotel near by (literally down the hill from this one, and it was awful).
Royal Mykonian sent us a driver to pick us up immediately. My daughter's birthday was made extra special from the moment we arrived. They knew we had just left an awful hotel and did everything to make our stay extra special. We were upgraded to an amazing room with stunning sea views.
This is a true 5 star luxury experience and the staff can't seem to do enough for you. Lazarus, Panos and the entire team are world class. The shops in the hotel are handy and have beautiful items. We had the hotel shuttle take us into town and back and it was free every day. The bar has an open deck section that looks out onto the sea. Watching the sunsets here is a must.
I will definitely be back here again and for longer. The pictures online don't do this place enough justice. It is much more exquisite in person. I would not stay anywhere else in Mykonos!!! Royal Mykonian exceeded our expectations and more.

You know you have a wonderful hotel when your guest don't ever want to leave it to explore the rest of the island. lol. We arrived at the Royal Myconian Monday 9/23 and from the moment we stepped inside it was love at first sight. We were greeted by Panos who promptly showed us around. Now this may be the only issue, this is a big resort so not sure how they handle someone with mobility issues. Our rooms were gorgeous, we booked a superior room and surprise a jacuzzi off of a private deck looking out to the sea. Lord, if there is a heaven this is what it looks like. After the tour we went back downstairs to the dining/pool area for an early lunch. again, the views were spectacular and the food delicious. Ladies, if you want to get your "shop" on without going into town, not to worry there are 3 boutiques on the hotel in a variety of price ranges. lol we could not resist the sparkly slides. The hotel is situated at the top of a very high hill so we made use of the resort shuttle. Now for the beach, again the resort has thought of every thing. big, big lounge chairs and umbrellas plus the ability to order lunch and drinks. There were local "vendors" that walked up and down the beach at various times but they were not intrusive at all. not like some of the Caribbean Islands where they almost harass you. We ordered a really tasty lunch and just spent hours relaxing. One note: the beach bottom is very rocky, pool shoes are a must.
The hotel provides shuttle service to Mykonos town through the day. Can't wait to go back.
They also have a full spa and gym. I wish we had time to take advantage of them, the spa services especially looked nice.

Oh one really nice touch, most of the rooms are totally different. lol not the standard, cookie cutter hotel room.

The Myconian Royal is as advertised one of the best Hotels in Mykonos. The staff are very friendly and helpful always trying to make your vacation special. Shout out to Cleopatra who works the main pool she was so much fun and a great server. The food was good and the entertainment was good. We even broke plates one night which was fun. Rooms were clean and nicely laced out. They arranged transportation into town for you. Great Hotel would love to return again.
