Skip and Sonja have fresh hot coffee and simple sandwiches with all the fixings. It's a good place to have soup and refreshment.

We arrived just before closing, but the barista was happy to make us lovely lattes and let us sit awhile.

Also, all espresso drinks, no matter what size, just had two shots. Really slow internet, though. But great location and friendly. Shirts and sweatshirts overpriced.

This place is open early! It was open before 7am (not much around Lutsen [pronounced like loot-sin] opens before 8am on any day of the week!) They serve breakfast sandwiches and have bakery breakfast pastries. The price point is similar to other big city coffee houses.

We stopped for coffee and it was good. The barista that morning was not welcoming and a bit short. Bummer but of course that happens. We heard from a local that the soup and sandwiches were great but we weren't there at lunch time. The decor was a little stark. Wifi was good but required a unique login for each device which you don't know until after you sit down with your coffee. Then you go back tithe order counter and wait until the lone barista is finished with customers to push a button on a machine which prints your individual login credentials and has a 3 hour limit. I don't blame them for that but there must be a better way to hand them out.
