Having a meal at the Pedal Pushers Cafe is a unique experience you'll not want to miss if you're in the little town of Lanesboro. You open the old wooden door to see old plank flooring, orange and green walls, and old doors hung from the walls like pictures.

The tables and booths date back several decades and there is wrapping paper covering the eating area so your kids (or you) can doodle on them. The dishes and silver ware show long years of service, adding to the ambiance of the place. The waiter was a bit obsequious, otherwise no issues.

The food was great. I had the bread pudding with caramel sauce for desert. It was amazing!

The servers there were excellent. The food was great. The atmosphere was fun. We were seated right away and did not have to wait at all.

The ambience was perfect for a lazy lunch. Our server was friendly and efficient. There was an interesting selection of beers and the lunch menu offered a variety of sandwhiches, burgers, and the like. Good place to stop!

3 of us stopped in for lunch today (Wednesday), after a 30 mile bike ride along the great Root River trail in southeastern Minnesota. This is a great, casual cafe, catering to bicyclists. We had BLT's, with their home made fries, and then shared a slice of delicious rhubarb pie with ice cream! Yum! Our waitress was very friendly, and we enjoyed our time there. Would definitely go back!
