“Great service, decent food”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

The service here was very good. We always had full drinks and they were very helpful and kind. The fish was very good, but that is about it. Everything else is just filler for their menu to have some other things. I tried some of the other things and the roast beef was mediocre and the pasta was decent. If you're a fish person, this is the place to go though with their fresh fish selection.

“Good experience”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

We were here for a large group function and had the entire place reserved with menu choices made ahead of time - fish, chicken, or beef. At our table of four we had all three and all were excellent. The fish was trout and I heard many positive comments about it. My husband had beef and said it was almost as good as mine! The chicken was Kiev served with rice pilaf and was about what one would expect. I would go back on our own to check it out. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.

Don't miss this stop. You will be sorry. The staff is great and the food and menu is wonderful. Atmosphere is casual and we go back as much as we can.

“Nothing special”
Reviewed July 3, 2013

The place was packed, but I'm not sure why. The food was mediocre at best. Advertises itself as casual dining but the prices are anything but casual. Could have eaten at Culvers next town over for 1/3 of the price and had better food. Waitress and hostess where both very friendly.

“Second Try Not the Charm”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

I don't like to give bad reviews, but feel this is justified. This was our second visit since the new owners took over a few years ago. The first time was not memorable, but thought we should give it another go as we had heard positive things about it lately. We were extremely disappointed. I ordered the Cuban. It seemed thrown together with not much ham and the "pulled pork" was just a few chunks of tasteless meat. It didn't come made with Swiss cheese and mustard as I'm used to, but this wasn't the only reason it was so bland.

My husband had a burger and said it was not bad but very tasteless. The prices were a bit high considering that for $10.25 you have to pay $1.50 extra if you want fries.

We long for the old Emily's with the original owners where everything was homemade and we will not return. Sad, as it's a nice drive for lunch on a Saturday and a charming building and setting.
