Even with Sat Nav it's not the easiest of places too find (DON'T try and find it first time in the dark - you'll be driving the narrow lanes of Devon all night); once there though you'll see how easily accessible it is to the surrounding main roads and onwards.
What a Joyful discovery...whilst our room was only in the Mews, it was perfectly comfortable, with the best bed i think i have ever slept in.
Breakfast was a delight with 'real' bread (not the cheap supermarket sliced stuff), and very friendly staff. Didn't get chance to savour the evening cuisine, but the menu looked inviting and very reasonably priced...next time i'll make the effort.
Only two points to niggle about - hot shower water ran out early on the Saturday morn (but the hotel was filling up with a wedding, so can only assume it doesn't cope too well when hotel nearly full?); and no shower gel/soap/conditioner...a staple in even 'economy' hotels.
Would have given it the full 5 if not for these two points - sorry :-(
Definitely going back thoughMore
