“Release Your Inner Boy”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

For those who have driving a tank on their bucket list, this was a great experience.

Drive a Tank has several options to choose from, but the most economical is a British self-propelled gun. While pedants will argue whether this is a real tank, it looks, feels, sounds, and drives like real tank. After a brief historical and safety lecture, customers take turns driving the SPG on a 3/4 mile closed circuit track. It is easy to drive, and there's someone looking over your shoulder at all times. And it is quite the rush. You're allowed to bring up to two passengers as well.

Afterwards, depending on the package you choose, you then get to fire some classic automatic weapons in the indoor firing range. If you stick around until all the package customers have finished, you can rent many different hand guns for a single nominal fee, and just pay for the different ammunition. Not being a gun owner, this was an interesting opportunity to try different weapons.

In their garage are several other tanks, including a Russian T-54, two British Challengers, and an American Hunter-Walker light tank. Technically, it's illegal for citizens to own US military tanks (which is why the SPG is British), so I don't know how they scored the Hunter-Walker.

BTW, this wasn't strictly a guys-only attraction. More than a few women were present, and active participants- drivers vs. passengers. Their smiles were just as big.

“Totally worth the fee for this attraction!!!”

We went not really knowing what to expect and left high fiving and talking about it all the way home. It will be something my son will never forget, that's for sure. Great history lessons in the presentation too.
We got to drive/ride along on a tank and shoot automatic weapons. The people were all so nice and very accommodating to us the whole day. They had two dogs that kept you entertained while you had short waits too. That was a plus, if you're a dog lover, like we are.
Expect to get a little dusty and dirty...because you will. Even a little muddy too after the tanks go through a sloppy mud hole. But, it's all amazing fun!
They are all about safety, safety, safety - so, expect to be grilled on what all the rules are and LISTEN to what they say. It's for you and your guests safety.
You will enjoy your time spent at this place. They have souvenirs there too. We highly recommend it to any army, gun and big military toy enthusiasts! It will not disappoint.

“You drive a tank, enuogh said.”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

I had heard about this on CNBC one day a few years ago and as most men if you tell me I can drive I tank then I am in. A few of my buddies bought this for me as a wedding gift. The entire experience is amazing. They take you to the "battlefield" in deuce and half troop carrier. The allow you to shoot fully automatic machine guns in their homemade indoor shooting range that can withstand up to .50 caliber bullets indoors. This facility itself in super impressive. The owner and the staff truely have a passion that shows through the entire time. However they are a gear heads first and business men second so the entire day is a little bit disorganized. However it does not take away from the fact your are driving tanks and crushing cars. They were just such great people. They took us on a tour afterwards and talked to us for hours about how they came up with this idea and why they love doing what they do. These people make the experience of driving a tank even better. I will travel back and do this again in the future. However next time I am getting the best package and crushing a car.
