We stopped at Zella's for lunch after a stop at a local winery. Someone in the group read a review that said "Zella's is where foodies go to die". While I wouldn't want to die there the food is wonderful. There were only a few people in the restaurant which I found surprising; but then there weren't that many people walking around town.
Yes, we did have to go to the counter and order our food. But this wasn't a problem: they did bring our orders to the table. There were 6 of us and we each had something different. The salads were fresh and a nice size; the burger was cooked perfectly; the chicken sandwich was huge and served with sweet potato fries (there are several side options), the flatbread pizza with brie and mushrooms was delicious, and the quinoa with vegetables wrap was so large that my daughter could only eat half of it. We thought the prices were very reasonable for lunch - but then we are all used to city restaurants.
The decorations are upscale and the service is friendly. After a pleasant lunch, we decided to go to another winery. The lunch at Zella's complemented the service we had at the wineries. It was a great day.
