My husband booked an overnight stay here for myself and a friend. It included breakfast lunch and dinner-all excellent and good size portions-plus a facial and use of the spa facilities. We arrived and was very warmly welcomed by the owner. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and you are made to feel part of the family! A lovely stay, the spa facilties are very relaxing as are the beauty treatments, we plan to return again!
Many thanks Yvonne, Alan, Abigail & Jackie for your warmness and great hospitality.
lots of love
Ann & Ashleigh. XX

Room Tip: Rooms are ground floor, so very accessible to the less mobile.

My friend's son booked us an overnight stay as a Xmas present. What a treat. It was so refreshing to be in such a queit and relaxing environment. After time in the hot tub, steam room and a lunch, we were treated to a most wonderful Deep Thermal Therapy in the afternoon, we didn't need to do anything else after that but relax, until dinner. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We plan another visit.

What a beautiful place, surrounded by such glorious countryside.
I was fortunate enough to be taken to Wood Fen Lodge by a very good friend (she’s a keeper)
The spa was clean & inviting and all the staff at Wood Fen Lodge go out of their way to make sure each guest is suitably comfortable....I could not fault their hospitality one bit.
If I had only one criticism it would be that the guest house bedrooms are slightly dated and I did bang my elbow in the bathroom a few times.
However this being said, I would certainly go again and would highly recommend it to friends.
If you’re never had an Indian head massage before Yvonne is the lady to see...it is out of this world!

Spent a day and night at the Lodge using the spa facilities. Had a lovely time, was made to feel really welcome by all the staff, and the owners couldn't be more accommodating. Delicious homemade food, freshly prepared, we even got a lovely call from the owner to see if what she would like to prepare for our evening meal would be suitable...it certainly was! The garden and surroundings are simply beautiful and really cared for and maintained by the owners. Brilliant spa facilities, clean and well kept, and the beauty treatments were also superb with a professional, knowledgeable beauty therapist, who took really good care of us, we opted for a facial, back massage and deep tissue massage. Thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing experience and will be back!

Me and the wife went to this little gem for a spa break, on arrival there was no signing in just given our room key.
The whole day of Saturday was just so relaxing due to the amazing spa session, spent all day in bathrobe and shorts.
The food was of a high standard good home cooking (comfort food) but what made this weekend were the owners and staff you felt like being part of the family.
