It is a lovely setting on Burntside Lake and well worth seeing. They aim high for the food preparation and some of ours (walleye, appetizers) was wonderful. A steak ordered medium, however, showed up really well done, if not microwaved. The night we were there, they were short-staffed and just couldn't seem to deal with it. The wait between courses was long. We got water refills but no one offered to take a drink order. The hostess came by and asked if we wanted to order dessert when we hadn't received entrees. She was apologetic and offered us a complimentary dessert. It is a fairly expensive restaurant ($330 for a party of 6), but the service is not what you'd experience at a nice restaurant in a larger city. We would go back, but sit in the bar and order drinks and appetizers.
